SOLARTECC - Foundation stone laying ceremony
Under the Patronage of His Excellency Dr Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, President of the Sustainable Energy Authority, the foundation stone laying ceremony took place for SOLARTECC, Bahrain’s newest Solar Panel production and installation facility located in the Bahrain International Investment Zone (BIIP).
The facility, with an annual production capacity of up to 80,000 panels per year, will play a vital role in helping the Kingdom of Bahrain achieve its SDGs, with its current renewable energy targets set at 5% by 2025 and 10% by 2035, under its Vision 2030.
the facility will cater to both large- and small-scale projects for either commercial or residential purposes, as well as fully integrating services to ensure that the transition to solar is as smooth as possible.
